Hour by hour, what your first two days of speedfly training actually look like.
Dedicated to the no-wind forward launch — the "crux" of a typical speed wing flight. We want you to know how to do this well, not just when there's enough wind to reverse kite. You'll build airspeed by running, so come ready for a genuine workout.
You apply what you've learned and fly from our lower launches. We communicate by radio and guide you through setting up an approach and timing your touchdown "flare." Once you can launch, approach, and land unassisted, it's time to move up the mountain — some students get there by day one's end.
This is when it gets fun. Quick laps, launching from 800–1,900 feet. We guide you through turning technique, speed range, and wing energy management. We've had students do 10 flights on day two — while keeping an eye on fatigue.
As you progress, we introduce more advanced maneuvers, always in small steps. The real learning happens the day you venture out on your own — our job is making sure you have the right tools and attitude to keep improving for years afterward.
